ECIL Runners Society ("we", "us", or "our") respects the privacy of our members, participants, and visitors. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website (https://www.ecilrunners.com) and our services.

We collect information necessary to administer running activities, membership, and merchandise fulfillment:

• Personal Identity Data: Full name, email address, contact phone number, age, gender, and profile photo provided during account creation or profile completion.
• Activity & Event Data: Event RSVPs, attendance records, and Strava club/athlete stats (when authorized via official Strava integration).
• Merchandise & Transaction Data: T-shirt/gear size preferences, order items, transaction amounts, and Razorpay payment identifiers. Note: We never store your Credit/Debit Card numbers, CVVs, or Netbanking passwords. All payment instruments are handled securely by Razorpay.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to support community operations:

• To verify event RSVPs, organize bibs/routes, and mark attendance.
• To calculate community leaderboards and Runner of the Month recognitions.
• To fulfill club merchandise orders and provide order receipts.
• To send critical updates regarding Sunday runs, weather advisories, or event schedules.

4. Payment Processing by Razorpay

We use Razorpay as our secure third-party payment gateway. During payment checkout, your payment information is encrypted and transmitted directly to Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) regulations.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or third-party marketing companies. Data is only processed through trusted infrastructure services strictly required to run our club platform (Supabase for authentication/database, Vercel for website hosting, and Razorpay for payment processing).
